Interactive Kölsch
Hotel Monte Christo

After we recovered from our first pass 2011 (Follow-up Part I) Tour, the next morning we moved on through the design world in Cologne. visited in the inner city we Hotel Monte Christo . Here were students at the FH Mainz "design" a colorful and interactive LED light and Rauminstallationim Camouflage in the former club. 1600 computer-controlled LED lights offset the room into different moods and stunning color. Funny detail: the installation was designated as "Interactive Kölsch " because the lights were controlled by the Kölsch consumption of the visitors.

Rheinlandhalle "cross references"

Our next stop was the Rhineland Hall in Ehrenfeld - find a super cool location as we do. The work of Catherine Pawlik sparked our interest: old bucket she had covered with nylon stockings and turned into lamps. These composite Altagsgegenstände given me a whole new function and surprised the visitors

DQE Hall
-feed for you a steam bath / Miguel Chevalier.
Fractal Flowers The DQE Hall is an integral part in the Design scene. Was entitled to during the passages 2011, not missing a show there. The arts group surprised feed from Cologne, with an unusual idea: a steam room converted into a "Dampfbar.

Meiré and Meiré
Backroom
The dark room installation Mike Meiré handle the issues that lie dormant in each sub-consciousness, . Control and madness, order and confusion, intellect and instinct have been here in an architectural space through the carefully chosen Furniture shown. The installation was fascinating and irritating to the same.
